Congratulations to Matt and Dallas (Roe) Estepp!! I have loved every minute of this wedding experience with Dallas. From the first moment she came to my home and we chatted about her wedding dreams to seeing her get to say “I Do” everything was special. She is so sweet and kind! Dallas has been open minded and trusted (and requested) my input on wedding certain topics and ideas.
Dallas’s first dress was handmade by her mother! It was amazing to see each pearl on the dress and know they were sewn on, one by one! Carla, Dallas’s sister, wore this dress in her own wedding. Dallas had a lace train added. Since Matt knew what the dress looked like, Dallas surprised him with a different dress to celebrate their reception in. Of course, we had another portrait session at the end of the day in her second dress!
We did their first look at Willow Creek Conservatory in Landrum, SC. This allowed us to spend more time on their romantic bride and groom portraits. Then their best friends and family came along for wedding party and family portraits. You may remember this past weekend was very hot. The First Look gave us better shade and cooler temperatures for photos! We went down the road to their church for their ceremony. Then we returned to Willow Creek and celebrated in their large gazebo. Another advantage of their First Look was that their guests didn’t have to wait on them to arrive at the reception! We kicked off their party in no time! I’m so happy to see these two united! It’s such an honor to photograph sweet love stories like theirs week after week!
